G2 achieved one win and one loss in the first day of the competition. After being defeated by 9INE, they finally achieved a big victory against iNation. After the game, huNter- gave an interview to BLAST.
HuNter- is pleased to face his former team:
“It’s definitely not comfortable competing with old friends, let alone defeating them. But I am really happy that they have arrived at the RMR arena. This is the first professional team I have ever played for, and they will always have a place in my heart. I offer them my most sincere blessings.”
HuNter- believes that many T2 teams have recently achieved remarkable success in RMR, which has contributed to the development of the CS environment:
“This is advantageous, all T1 players initially came from T2 and T3. I am glad to see so many players thriving in various teams, achieving explosive results against T1 and Top10 teams. Losing to them is definitely not good, but such a victory is of great significance to them, and I feel it because I have experienced all of these.”
HuNter- admitted that the team’s form improved in the second game:
“Compared to the first game, our performance in the second game was much better… We had a meeting after losing the first game. Of course, we didn’t underestimate any opponents during our time, so we couldn’t do it. We didn’t participate in the previous Major game, and we lost the first game this time. What we need to do is learn from each game, keep improving, and hope that tomorrow’s performance will be better than the first day.”
Speaking of the schedule for the next day, HuNter- expressed no fear of any opponents:
“It doesn’t matter who we play against in the next game. I only focus on my teammates and my team. I just want to prepare as much as possible with my teammates. If we can achieve complete preparation and focus, then we will be invincible.”
