25-year-old niko has ended his substitute career at OG.
niko’s four-month substitute career at OG has come to an end, and he recently announced that he is a free agent and is looking for a new team.
In February of this year, niko briefly returned to OG to fill the roster spot left by nexa, who left for personal reasons. There has been no news from nexa since his departure.
After niko joined, OG made it to the BLAST Paris Major, but they were eliminated in the Challenger stage with a 1-3 record, thus being knocked out early.
Despite this, niko continued to travel with the team to participate in the IEM Dallas event. However, it was a bit unexpected as OG’s initial plan was to part ways with niko after playing only in the Major. OG made it to the quarterfinals at the IEM Dallas event.
With niko leaving and flamZ’s contract about to expire, OG is likely to make major changes to their roster during the off-season. This summer break will start on June 12th and last until July 9th.
