Recently, Aleksei ‘RuFire’ Burakov, former captain of the VP youth team, expressed his opinion on the future world number one player in the talk show ‘Banana Road’. In his opinion, besides ZywOo, no one can compete for the world number one spot this year.
“Will ZywOo be the top player this year? Of course he will, what other variables are there? The only thing that could change things is if the data from CS2 is included in the rankings later on.”
“Obviously, ZywOo is already far ahead, and everyone else is just an accessory, no matter which team or which player. As for s1mple, he has been struggling recently and is very unstable.”
Since 2023, ZywOo has led his team to win two championships with his powerful individual skills, including the last CS:GO Major. In terms of individual statistics, ZywOo leads with an average rating of 1.33. During the Paris Major, he was even awarded the MVP with an average rating of 1.39. Players behind him include sh1ro (1.26 rating) and device (1.23 rating). Currently, s1mple’s average rating is only 1.19.
