Valve Corporation announced today the information regarding the bidding for the 2025 and 2026 Major tournaments in CS:GO. In a departure from previous years, starting from 2025, the dates for the Majors will be shifted from May and November to June and December respectively.
In March of this year, Valve officially released the beta version of CS2 and announced that the game will be officially launched this summer. According to the plan, the first CS2 Major will be organized by PGL next year, and thereafter, various major tournaments will compete for the qualification to host the subsequent Majors.
Since 2016, CS:GO has had two Major tournaments planned each year, traditionally held in May and November, with approximately one month of break in June and December.
The dates for the 2025 and 2026 Major tournaments are as follows:
2025:
June 9th to 22nd
December 1st to 14th
2026:
June 8th to 21st
November 30th to December 13th
