A few months ago, this CS:GO Belgian club was exposed to financial crisis.
Recently, French player Ex3rcice announced on Twitter that the players from the HEET team had no further involvement with the club. This lineup recently won the CCT Central Europe Series 6 championship with hAdji, and the five of them decided to stay together and participate in the game under the name of Looking4Org, hoping to receive the support of the new club.
A few days ago, media VaKarM.net reported that HEET has been in arrears with player salaries and tournament bonuses for several months. Team manager GoY gave a detailed introduction to the club’s situation at Monday’s press conference. According to GoY, Djoko and Lucky have already terminated their contracts with the club, and Maka and Ex3rcice are also on their way.
Last January, HEET Club announced their entry into CSGO, when they signed the DBL PONEY lineup led by Body. According to GoY, the club signed a two-year contract with the players at that time, but HEET was not sure if it could maintain operations for more than a year.
HEET’s initial lineup lasted for eight months, but later Lucky left to make room for JACKZ. But at this point, HEET has already revealed a financial crisis. When JACKZ was decentralized five months later, the problem became more complex. Because at that time, the buyout fee for JACKZ leaving G2 was paid out of the player’s own pocket, but HEET did not compensate for the agreed fee and also owed JACKZ several months’ salary.
At the beginning of this year, Maka joined the team, while Lucky also returned to the team. They both filled the gap after Afro and Body left the team. The fifth person was briefly served by Razzmo, but it wasn’t long before he was replaced by xReal. In addition, HEET also terminated his contract with coach matHEND.
HAdji was placed on the bench by Falcons in April this year, and later joined the HEET team to help the team win the CCT Central Europe Series 6 championship.
HEET Club has won some online competitions: the 2022 Elisa Winter invitational tournament, ECL S40 Europe and Malta Vibes Knockout S5. Unfortunately, HEET has never been able to advance to the Major event.
The former HEET lineup is as follows:
