Renowned CIS commentator PCH3LK1N discussed NaVi’s new lineup and expressed his doubts about their transition to an international roster.
PCH3LK1N: In my opinion, it’s hard to say if we will ever see a “better” lineup than before. There is no better time than when boombl4 was leading the team. The new lineup will need time to adapt to each other and also to communicate in English. I’m not sure about b1t’s English proficiency, so there might be some initial difficulties. We will only know if this lineup change is good or bad in due time. It might take at least six months of playing together to achieve good results. iM and jL have strong individual skills, but CS is not just about individual abilities. Aleksib was good when he was with ENCE, but it’s hard to evaluate him since then. Can he be a good commander for s1mple? It’s unlikely, as it feels like s1mple needs a “super commander,” and Aleksib may not fit that role.
On June 30th, Aleksib, jL, and iM joined NaVi, signaling NaVi’s transition to an international roster. They will make their debut at the BLAST Fall Group Stage on July 13th.
